Steering Committee Meeting
NYC Coalition on the Continuum of
Care 2011-2012
The NYC CCoC Steering Committee will next meet on Friday, January
27th, 2012
from 9:30AM - 12:00PM

Training for The 2012 NYC CCoC Evaluation Process
Trainings for the 2012 NYC CCoC Evaluation Process will be held on
Wednesday February 15, 2012 for agency names beginning with A-H and Wednesday February 22, 2012 for agency names beginning with I-Z. Attendance at one of these trainings is MANDATORY for all providers submitting Evaluations. Failure to attend one of the training sessions will result in an unranked project(s) and the risk of loss of funding.
Both training sessions will be held at The Genesis Apartments at 113 East 13th Street New York, NY. Trainings are from 9:30 AM to NOON. The 4, 5, 6 and R trains are nearby.
RSVP to Aleida Valentin at avalenti@dhs.nyc.gov with the date of the training you’d like to attend; the agency name; and the name, title, phone number and email of the person(s) attending the training. Each agency may only send up to two individuals for the training.
Evaluation Committee Meeting
The next meeting of the Evaluation Committee will take place
this Friday, 1/13 at 9:30am. The meeting will be held in
conference room 1403 at DHS.
HUD NOFA 20ll Renewal Grant Awards
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced the recipients of the 2011 HUD
Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance grant competition. The NYC CCoC was awarded a total of $ 103,940,202 in
grants, including $65,669,250 through the Supportive Housing Renewal programs and $38,270,952
through the Shelter Plus Care Renewal programs. A list of the 2011 HUD award amounts can be viewed on
HUD's website.
Availabiliity of Funding for Reimbursement of HMIS Expenses
Providers participating in the CCoC Report Server Financial Assistance Program can now request reimbursement for 2011 expenses. Agencies must have completed at least 8 monthly HMIS uploads in 2011 to be eligible for reimbursement.
Each participating agency is eligible for reimbursement of documented HMIS expenses incurred in 2011, up to a limit of $5,000. Agencies must submit the following documentation to request reimbursement:

A completed, signed
HMIS Request for
Reimbursement Form.

HMIS invoices totaling or exceeding the amount you are requesting in reimbursement.

Documentation that your Agency is enrolled in the CCoC FAP program. If you have no longer retained this documentation, please contact Nicketa Nusum at

* All applications must be received no later than December 31, 2011. Applications received in 2012 or later will not be considered for reimbursement.

New APR for CoC Grants Live in
e-snaps
The new CoC Annual
Performance Report (APR) is live in e-snaps for Supportive
Housing Program (SHP), Shelter Plus Care (S+C) and Section 8 Mod
Rehab grants
expiring June 1, 2011 or later.
The
new CoC APR is available under the e-snaps Funding
Opportunity: CoC Full Annual Performance Report. A
CoC APR Guidebook will be posted on HUD HRE (www.hudhre.info)
by Friday, June 17th. The Guidebook will walk grantees
through the submission process for the CoC Full APR.
SHP, S+C and SRO
grants that expire between June 1, 2010 and May 31, 2011 must
submit a Transition APR (TAPR) under the e-snaps Funding
Opportunity: CoC Annual Performance Report.
